Aim of the event
To provide potential applicants with an introduction to the COST Open call for 2023, outlining basic application details and UK’s current status.
Who should attend?
Anyone interested in applying to the COST Open call or those providing support to academic and industry professionals with an interest in COST networks.
Programme outline
The event will be delivered across two sessions, with the second part covering the following topics:
- Roles under COST Actions including Lead, Grant holder and Management Committee.
- Activities reimbursed by COST
- COST Action submission process, tip and tricks for submissions.
- Budgeting and reporting
- Evaluation process
- Nomination processes
The session is aimed at those with limited understanding of the COST Action opportunities and those attending the session are encouraged to also register for the first part, to provide a basic understanding.
Registration for both sessions is mandatory and a recording will be published on the UKRO website afterwards.

This webinar will be delivered using the ‘Zoom’ online conference facility. No prior purchasing of software is necessary, but prior registration is mandatory. Please note that there will be scope to test the Zoom software prior to joining the webinar itself.
