ERC 2022 Proof of Concept Call Virtual Q&A Session (PDF 1.2MB)

Aim of the event

The session is for potential applicants to the upcoming 2022 Proof of Concept (PoC) call, with particular focus on the first cut-off date: scheduled to open on 16 November 2021, ahead of its submission deadline on 15 February 2022.

We recently presented a PoC Webinar for all the 2022 calls and the recordings and slides are available on that event page.

The virtual Q&A sessions will provide applicants with an opportunity to discuss specific elements of their proposal with the ERC NCP. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance to allow for better prepared responses, but there will be the opportunity to bring up questions during the sessions as well.

Who should attend?

The session is aimed at those eligible to apply for PoC as well as those working with the potential applicants:

  • ERC Principal Investigators on ongoing ERC projects
  • ERC Principal Investigators of ERC projects that finished less than 12 months before 1 January 2022
  • research support staff and project collaborators from academic and non-academic sectors who will be supporting these applications.

See page 45 of the 2022 ERC Work Programme (PDF 1.1MB) for more details on eligibility to the Proof of Concept call and its different cut-off dates.

Technical specifications

This virtual Q&A session will be delivered using the ‘Zoom’ online conference facility. No prior purchasing of software is necessary, but prior registration is mandatory. Please note that there will be scope to test the Zoom software prior to joining the webinar itself.

The webinar will not be recorded but a copy of the presentation slides prepared for pre-submitted questions will be made available after the end of the session.
