Aim of the event

The session will provide participants with a brief overview of the ERC and MSCA schemes in Horizon Europe, through an introduction to the schemes’ objectives, opportunities available to researchers and institutions and the key changes as we move from Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe.

We will also provide clarification on the UK’s participation in Horizon Europe, as well as briefly outline some other opportunities available with research infrastructures and Pillar 2.

Speakers will include UKRO NCP staff members and we are also pleased to have invited BEIS (Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) to provide a short clarification on UK participation in Horizon Europe.

Who should attend?

The session will be aimed at prospective researchers (at all career stages) who wish to be better informed about the opportunities available to them under the ERC or MSCA in Horizon Europe. Newly appointed research managers or research support staff who are not fully acquainted with these schemes are also recommended to join.
