Aim of the event

This webinar provided attendees with a comprehensive overview over the 2022 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND Call, including the eligibility criteria and the budget. This call will close on 9 February 2023.

The scheme provides co-financing for new or existing doctoral programmes and postdoctoral fellowship programmes at national, regional or international level as well as at the level of individual institutions. The action aims to spread the best practices of the MSCA including international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary research training, as well as international and cross-sectoral mobility of researchers at all stages of their career.

MSCA COFUND is a mono-beneficiary action, but it is highly encouraged to include academic and non-academic partners from all over the world. As with all MSCA actions, the scheme is entirely bottom up and open to all subject areas.

Who should attend?

This webinar is aimed at researchers and other staff in UK academic and non-academic organisations, including industry and funding organisations, who are interested in the 2022 MSCA COFUND Call. Applicants are strongly encouraged to watch both sessions.

Programme outline

Dr. Branwen Hide, Senior MSCA National Contact Point, gave an overview of the eligibility of UK-based organisations and researchers for the 2022 MSCA COFUND Call. Dr. Manuel Gomez Herrero from the European Commission’s Directorate General for Education and Culture gave an overview over the 2022 MSCA COFUND Call, including the eligibility criteria. Then, Prof. Jian Chang and Dr. Michael Board from Bournemouth University discussed their experiences with applying for and implementing their MSCA COFUND project The Centre for Applied Creative Technologies (CfACTs). Subsequently, participants had the opportunity to ask questions in a dedicated Q&A session.

Attendance was free of charge, but registration was mandatory.

These webinars were organised by UKRO in its capacity as UK NCP for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
