UKRO and UUKi, in collaboration with the European Commission is delighted to announce we are running a one-day in-person event in the UK, showcasing the MSCA schemes and opportunities for global mobility for early career researchers.
Registration for the event is now closed.
Aim of the event
The event aims to increase engagement with all MSCA funding opportunities and increase applications from UK institutions to all of the MSCA schemes. We will highlight the opportunities to participate and lead Doctoral Networks, to become or host postdoctoral fellows, and the range of opportunities for staff exchanges, as well as showcase the benefits of joining the Alumni Association.
Who should attend?
We want to engage the broadest audience possible, across HEI and industry sectors, across all remits and disciplines (including interdisciplinary researchers), and across all career stages – from candidates in their early career stage interested to hold a post-doctoral fellowship, as well as established independent researchers from any career stage that may host a doctoral or postdoctoral researcher within their research groups. We are keen to host people who may have responsibilities for Doctoral Training within their organisations, as well as research support professionals who support the early career stage or applications to the MSCA/Horizon Europe within their institutions.

What if I cannot attend but am still interested to apply to the MSCA?
The majority of the event sessions will be recorded and made available on the UKRO portal, and a meeting report will be published.
UKRO runs regular MSCA events in advance of scheme deadlines to ensure UK applicants and those seeking to hold their grants in the UK are aware of the scheme requirements. Please see the MSCA pages for further details.
I have a question related to the event, or UK participation in MSCA in general.
