The European Commission has extended the deadlines for two upcoming ERC calls in light of the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, recognizing the challenges faced by partner organisations in the region.
This extension is meant to provide extra time and assistance to help overcome difficulties individual applicants may be facing in the present context, without unduly delaying the implementation of Horizon Europe actions.
The ERC calls for which deadlines will be extended for all applicants, irrespective of the country where the organisation is based, are the following:
- The ERC Starting Grant Call will be extended from 24 October to 7 November
- The ERC Synergy Call will be extended from 8 November to 15 November
