The ERC has announced the results of the ERC Consolidator Grant 2023 Call.
From 2130 eligible applications, 308 projects have been selected, awarding over €627 million.
The call had a success rate of 14.5% with 89 projects awarded in the area of the Life Sciences, of the 612 applications submitted in this area. 129 Physical Sciences and Engineering projects were awarded from 881 applications and 90 Social Sciences and Humanities projects were awarded from the 637 submitted.
Host institutes in Germany were awarded the most grants, followed by the UK and the Netherlands. Successful UK applications will be funded by the UKRI Horizon Europe Guarantee.
