The European Commission (EC) has published the results of the 2024 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks.
MSCA awards €609 million for doctoral programmes, supporting 149 doctoral programmes to train and develop the skills of over 1800 doctoral candidates.
This includes funding of €537 million for 133 standard doctoral programmes, €26 million for 8 industrial doctoral programmes and €33 million for 8 joint doctoral programmes.
This brings the success rate of this call to 10.6%.
The funded doctoral programmes will be delivered by over 9300 organisations (over 4700 of which are private for-profit organisations) in 130 countries globally. The programme coordinators are spread across 18 countries, with the UK coordinating 13 projects.
