From April to October 2025, the Expo Osaka will explore how nations and regions worldwide are addressing the global issues of our time, including sustainability, connectivity, inclusivity and security.
The European Union (EU) will contribute to the success of Expo 2025 Osaka with a pavilion and activities under the theme of Nurturing Tomorrow.
The EU pavilion will showcase its commitment to these themes through immersive installations inspired by the New European Bauhaus – principles of aesthetics, sustainability, and inclusion.
It will also highlight the strong political, economic, and sociocultural ties it shares with Japan but also emphasise the importance of scientific cooperation and show how research and innovation shape our daily lives.
Exhibitions will include several EU-funded projects, a Health and well-being thematic week (June to July) and a Peace, human security and dignity thematic week (August).
