The European Commission (EC) has published the results of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 call.
10,360 applications were received as part of this call. From these applications, the EC will fund 1,696 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship projects: 1528 European Postdoctoral Fellowships and 168 Global Postdoctoral Fellowship. This corresponds to a total funding of €471 million, and a success rate of 16.6%.
The selected applicants represent 95 nationalities and will work in 47 countries across Europe and globally.
Successful projects will start from late spring 2025. Projects on the reserve list, a total of 292, will be contacted once all the grants have been signed.
2939 applicants received a MSCA Seal of Excellence, with 600 of those being awarded to UK proposals.
The MSCA Seal of Excellence is a quality label awarded to applicants under MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships and MSCA COFUND actions who scored 85% or higher in the assessment.
The next call for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships will open on 8 May 2025.
