New European Bauhaus National Contact Point
UKRO has taken on the role of the UK National Contact Point (NCP) for the New European Bauhaus (NEB) under Horizon Europe.
For questions relating to participation and opportunities in the New European Bauhaus please email NCP-bauhaus@ukro.ac.uk.
We will update our factsheet and provide further assistance supporting UK engagement soon, when the updated 2025 Work Programme on the NEB is formally adopted by the Commission (which we expect to be early May 2025).
The New European Bauhaus
The New European Bauhaus is a cross-cluster initiative in Horizon Europe to develop and scale up innovative solutions for the transformation of neighbourhoods to become sustainable, inclusive and beautiful.
The R&I component of the NEB Facility 2025-2027 funds basic research, testing and demonstration projects under three major R&I themes:
- Connecting the green transformation, social inclusion, and local democracy
- Circular and regenerative approaches for the built environment
- Innovative funding and new business models for the built environment, with the goal of enhancing their transformative impact.
Funding is provided under Horizon Europe calls, with an estimated €120 million per year from 2025 to 2027.
