The European Commission has awarded the Seal of Excellence to 1607 outstanding researchers who submitted proposals to the 2023 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships call but missed out on funding.
The MSCA Seal of Excellence is a quality label awarded to applicants for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships whose proposals scored 85% or higher. The Seal of Excellence is a guarantee of the outstanding value of the research project, recognized by a comprehensive and thorough assessment process.
For the 2023 call, the Seal of Excellence was awarded to proposals that had host organisations in 31 countries. 272 certificates were awarded to proposals with a UK host organisation.
Awardees will have received a notification in the Funding and Tenders Opportunities Portal, where they can download their Seal of Excellence certificate from the “Process documents” section, Seal of Excellence.
